This is a genuine quality products. The components and the workmanship are exemplary. It boils quickly not significantly longer than my old electrical kettle. I like the whistle is loud plenty of with an outdated fashioned tone reminding me of my granny creating tea. The cope with would not get scorching and the spout is positioned so it does not burn up the hand when pouring.

Appears to be excellent, boils quick, little bit expensive. Irrespective of price, i feel this is a terrific kettle. Appears to be like good, and boils rapidly with huge effective foundation.

Really like it and it appears excellent on the stove. The whistle is loud enough to listen to in yet another home but not shrilled.

One small thing – the rubber cover. One small thing – the rubber cover on the very hot whistle lever tends to ease off the end.

Chosen as a replacement for electric, as gas is cheaper than electric. Love the handle to release the whistle and pour without scolding fingers.

This is a quality product as it is very well made and looks rather nice on our fisher and paykel cooker.

Looks good, boils quick, bit pricey. Despite cost, i think this is a great kettle. Looks good, and boils quickly with large efficient base.

Be careful which kettle you order. I ordered a westco model from this seller and the handel got hot. Customer service was not good argueing that “they had always been made this way” rather than replacing it with one that did not burn your hand.

I wanted a good kettle for my induction hob and after weeks of looking decided on this one. I’m very pleased with my choice. It looks good, is well made, is easy to fill (you don’t need to take the lid off), easy to pour and has a whistle that is loud enough to hear from other rooms in the house (without being annoying)its base is exactly 21cm – a perfect fit for my hob. It is actually a bit bigger than the illustrations would suggest. It is slightly more expensive than similar models on the market but i think probably better constructed and therefore worth the extra expense. The only downside i can think of, is that it might be a little heavy for an elderly, frail person to handle. Otherwise i would recommend it to anyone.

I was looking for a traditional kettle for a gas hob that was stainless steel, that had a whistle & that was of a quality construction. The handle is screwed [not spot welded] to the body which you usually only find in quality products; the rubberised handle should ensure that it never slips from your hands; it is stainless steel; it has a whistle & it also has a lever to temporarily lift the whistle whilst pouring that works extremely well. The shape isn’t quite as traditional as i originally had in mind but everything else was better than i could have hoped for & i am very pleased that i took the time to find this particular kettle.
