Review and Buying Guide of Sage by Heston Blumenthal Compact Glass Kettle

A truly wonderful stylish kettle.

The greatest kettle i have at any time had. Pretty easy to fill , superb high quality and really tranquil.

Quite pleased with this kettle. Very happy with this kettle. Appreciate the measurement and that it does not choose much room. Boils very fast and it really is tranquil.

“A great looking, dumpy kettle with some disappointments., Compact, quiet & enviornmentally friendly, Very happy with this purchase, Cute and practical!, It is excellent product. I bought it to avoid plastic to , Excellent product so far”

Exceptional top quality – advised.

Appreciate this kettle, boils actually swiftly,,only established back again would be that it developed up with lime scale speedily,,but it has not put me off.

We have a single of these kettles from lakeland plastics. We had the glass ‘other brand’ which was more cost-effective and experienced extra capacity, the 1 with the blue gentle which shattered on initial boil. That a person was not well engineered in my check out. Even so this sage kettle is good to continue to be balanced as we use distilled water with it from our mini basic ii h2o distiller. A couple of shots as lid angle had been questioned about in the concerns.

I love this kettlei’ve had it for over a month now and bought because of reviews. I was sick of the standard kettle which mostly seem to be ugly and bulky and have difficulty filling up or pouring out of. The lid opens properly (unlike most kettles) it pours well, it isn’t too big (but definitely big enough). It looks great and is easy to clean (and you can see when it needs a clean)i would recommend it 100% (and no i’m not being paid by heston for this review)i hope it doesn’t break. But if it did (after a long enough time or my own fault) i would get the same kettle again.

I bought it to avoid plastic to. I bought it to avoid plastic to be leaching into heated water as i found that patrick holford – british, famous nutritionist wrote fabulous book about cancer called say no to cancer and he emphasised connection of cancer with plastic leached into the food or water. There are too many plastic kettles on the current market and people are usually not well informed that it can actually affect their health long-term. So sage heston blumenthal compact glass kettle helps me to keep healthy and to have delicious, good quality hot water every day.

But this kettle is beautiful. Plus it is nice and compact so doesn’t. I’m quite fussy, but this kettle is beautiful. Plus it is nice and compact so doesn’t take up too much space. I was torn between this and the larger kettle, with different temps based on tea types, but am glad i went for this one.

Excellent product so far, bought for my mother who has difficulty opening tight fitting lids, she likes the touch button to open the lid and she can see exactly how much water is needed plus it looks good.

A great looking, dumpy kettle with some disappointments. . I rate this as one of the nicest looking (contemporary) and most promising of electric cordless kettles. It looks great straight out of the box. It sits nice and squat on the worktop, and blends in nicely with the other silver/chrome appliances nearby. The size is intentionally small (and neat) and its volume (4 cups max) is perfect for 90%+ of common uses. It boils a full volume relatively quickly (mostly because of the volume of course) and is somewhat quieter (78db (ambient 42db)) compared to my other larger kettle (83db). So what are the disappointments mentioned in the review title?. (1) taste (at least initially). It noticeably taints the boiled water (horrid plasticky taint), and even more so if the water has been boiled once already – that said, the vast majority of kettles fail here too in my experience. After i had boiled 6-8 kettles of fresh water, the taint was at it’s least offensive (or maybe i had gotten used to it?) the taint i suspect comes from the seal between the concealed metal element and the glass body.
