Review and Buying Guide of Orbit Poppy Ceramic Cordless Kettle

Heavy but who cares; it’s gorgeous. Only minus point is that steam can escape from under the lid onto your fingers as you tip the pot – but then it’s easier to lift with your finders well down the handle.

Poppy ceramic cordless kettle. I am pleased with my kettle, it’s very pretty. However i will buy another kettle to use when my family are here as this one is a bit heavy (i have arthritis) and as advertised, it holds one litre. I don’t want my grand children to use this precious, pretty kettle. They can use an ‘ordinary’ one. I find it helpful to support the spout with a pot holder when pouring if you have weak hands.

The kettle arrived well packed with no damage to the box or product ,we started using the kettle straight away and found that it boils very quickly, the lid has to be lined up with recesses to remove it so it can be a bit fiddly as there are no marks to show where the slots are, otherwise it is well made and the wife likes it ( which is very important ).

“Poppy the alternative Polly put the Kettle on., Bought in 2012. Pretty kettle but not for regular daily use, Ceramic kettlelovely but, Poppy Ceramic cordless kettle, Orbit poppy ceramic kettle, Poppy Tea Kettle”

I adore poppies and hence my initial purchase of my poppy kettle but it is also very quick boiling a little heavy when full but i can manage even with arthritis and i get compliments from visitors and friends.

Came well before the date given well packed but i have not tested it yet as i bought it as a present the person who i giving it to will be very pleased as her last one stopped working(different make and company).

If you want a electric kettle that is good enough for the gentry, look no further. I would not buy any other plastic or metal type as long as one of these ceramic ones were available. And this model is so reasonably priced.

I give this product the five stars because it is a very good kettle. It may be a little heavy, but it is a quite fast boiler. Because we only put the amount that is needed for the amount of cups needed it brings the weight down. Being a ceramic kettle it makes a very tasty cup of tea.

Lovely unusual kettle would recommend to anyone and has been admired by lots. Lovely unusual kettle would recommend to anyone and has been admired by lots. One review said it was too heavy, i don’t find it so at all.

Pretty kettle but not for regular daily use. Its a heavy kettle (its ceramic so you would expect that) my husband and i have used this kettle multiple times daily since its purchase in december 2012. It is just about big enough to quench the thirst of 3-4 people dependent on size of mug. Sadly though, it appears to have recently developed a small leak where the ceramic meets the plastic base so it has now been relegated to being a display piece until i decide whether we want to spend so much on something that only lasted 12 months.

No more water spilling anywhere. Great little kettle even if it does get a bit heavy when it’s full.

Obviously heavier than usual kettles but otherwise fine very pretty wonder if there are any mugs to match it or cups.

A lovely looking thing nobody realises is a kettle. A little small so not for houses of more than two.

Get value from money adding my herbal/fruit tea bag to teapot, which sits on my desk at work allowing me to have several hot cuppas.
