Review and Buying Guide of Le Creuset Zen 92009600060000 Water Kettle Cherry

Terrific kettle – appears wonderful.

Elegant small contemporary whisting kettle. Scaled-down ability than most hob kettles which fits my smaller home, the lid can be a minor rigid but requires to be to stay away from boiling around. The broad base usually means it boils quite quickly, have not discovered much change in time taken from my former electric kettle. I have not had much too substantially trouble with scaling in a pretty difficult water spot, and a very good decision of colours.

Charming kettle, just 1 slight gripe. We love the zen kettle and have been working with it for a couple of months now. It appears fantastic and comes to the boil swiftly and quietly. Just about every electrical kettle we have experienced has began out quietly and progressively about time develop into noisier and noisier to the level where it really is just unbelievably irritating. The only sound from the zen is the whistle which is loud plenty of in our residence. Reading through other reviews we empty out unused water, in particular as we are living in a quite tricky water region. The minor gripe is that you have to fill the kettle from the best alternatively than the spout and the lid is a minimal stiff. Would suggest this kettle.

Comments from buyers

“The best kettle I have ever had, So far so good – updated to add another star, Red Zen Kettle really works for me!, A very good looking kettle., Le Creuset Zen Water Kettle Cherry Red, Top marks for a stove-top kettle”

Le creuset zen water kettle cherry red. Have wooden burner and not significantly place from wood burner leading to chimney plinth – 8in. – and ‘cone-‘type’ kettles would not healthy. Water usually takes 13mins from ‘best burn’ get started to boil and whistle slowly and gradually commences. Imagined it was ‘wind’ coming down by means of chimney at first. An individual stated tea preferences distinctive and thought a fallacy but. Few of mates even though the exact.

Exceptional appears charming on my stove.

Great smaller kettle in bright colour. Neat, small and perfect for my holiday home, nice whistle too.

Top marks for a stove-top kettle. A new kitchen and a new cooker left our old, electric kettle looking more than a tad shabby and out-of-place. The obvious was a stove-top alternative. It takes time to get used to, since it doesn’t boil as fast as an electric one, but this is far outweighed by the advantages. First, it looks really good – and is lighter than you might expect of le creuset. Not having an automatic cut-off when the water just hits boiling point helps make far better tea – and perhaps best of all, with no element inside, it’s easy to clean regularly and thus avoid the build-up of limescale.

I purchased this and several other red coloured items as part of our kitchen update. We are delighted with this product.

A very good looking kettle. . But i have given it three stars because after just tiny knock against something else the enamel was damaged. I suppose this should not really be an issue but it is for me. I have other le creuset kitchen equipment and this is very robust. I loved the folding handle and the whistle is very good. The mark inside that is there to show how much the kettle should be filled was hard to see and would be better on the outside of the kettle i think. I had no problems with the kettle dripping or spitting when it boils, but i always made sure it rested for a few seconds before pouring.

Le creuset zen water kettle cherry red. Have wood burner and not much space from wood burner top to chimney plinth – 8in. – and ‘cone-‘type’ kettles would not fit. Water takes 13mins from ‘best burn’ start to boil and whistle slowly starts. Thought it was ‘wind’ coming down through chimney at first. Someone said tea tastes different and thought a fallacy but. Couple of friends though the same.

The best kettle i have ever had. After previously viewing some reviews on this kettle i was a bit hesitant to buy it but i am so pleased i ignored some of the negative remarks. If you use the kettle as directed in the instructions, empty it of unused water and fill it to the indicated level then you will have no trouble what so ever. The comments about the whistle not being loud enough.I can hear the kettle at the bottom of my garden. I would encourage people to buy this item and follow the instructions for use. You will be pleased you did. Thank you so much for an excellent product.

Stylish small modern whisting kettle. Smaller capacity than most hob kettles which suits my small household, the lid can be a little stiff but needs to be to avoid boiling over. The wide base means it boils pretty quickly, haven’t noticed much difference in time taken from my previous electric kettle. I have not had too much problem with scaling in a very hard water area, and a good choice of colours.

We bought this to use for our cuppas on top of our wood burner. Boils quickly on a good fire, whistle is obvious but not shrieking, pours well. Lid needs to be tight but not an issue. Best of all it looks great – love it.

Le creuset zen water kettle (in cherry red). Le creuset zen water kettle (in cherry red, very happy with the quick service & feed back, nice design looks great in kitchen stove. Only limited problem is the top opener for water filling, can be a little ard for me to remove, thou the size of top does help with quicker water filling.

Lovely kettle, just one minor gripe. We love the zen kettle and have been using it for a few weeks now. It looks great and comes to the boil quickly and quietly. Every electric kettle we have had has started out quietly and gradually over time become noisier and noisier to the point where it’s just incredibly irritating. The only noise from the zen is the whistle which is loud enough in our house. Reading other reviews we empty out unused water, especially as we live in a very hard water area. The minor gripe is that you have to fill the kettle from the top rather than the spout and the lid is a little stiff. Would recommend this kettle.

It looks great and it is faster than my previous kettle and so it is energy efficient what more can i say.

Red zen kettle really works for me. I was bought this kettle for use on my boat. It is excellent, colour is fantastic and as long as you follow the instructions not to fill it too much and to leave it a couple of seconds after boiling in order to pour the water out, then it’s great. The whistle is more than loud enough to let you know when to turn to heat off and aesthetically it really looks fab in the galley.

I purchased this kettle in june and it is, by far, the best kettle i have ever owned. It is so easy to clean that it looks as new now as when i bought it. I recommend cleaning the inside with a very soft brush once a week. I wipe the outside with a microfibre cloth – the blue ones from lakeland are the best. If you allow the water to ‘settle’ before pouring, the kettle will not drip. This applies to other kettles, too. I cannot comment on the whistle, as i do not use it. The design is stunning and would look good in a modern or traditional kitchen.
